A foul-mouthed thug punched a supermarket checkout screen – causing it to shatter and injure a worker.
Police have issued an appeal to trace a man and woman following the incident on October 31.
Staff at Tesco Express on Chester Road, Streetly, were ‘abused’ by a man who was reportedly ‘shouting and swearing’.
He then punched a screen at a counter, causing it to shatter and injure a member of staff.
West Midlands Police have issued CCTV images of the pair they want to trace in connection with the 10pm incident.
The force has urged anyone who recognises the couple to call 101.
A Walsall Police appeal read: “Do you recognise this man and woman? We want to speak to them after staff were abused at Tesco Express on Chester Road, Walsall, between 10pm – 10.30pm on Saturday, 31 October.
“A man who was shouting and swearing punched a screen at the counter, causing it to shatter and leaving a staff member with a minor injury.
