Tamworth Borough Council’s Arts and Events team have now delivered a fantastic new prize scooter courtesy of Britvic, to Mollie Burton, the Pumpkin Trail winner.
The Pumpkin Trail took place at October half-term and invited families to find six Halloween pumpkins displayed in windows around the town centre, with a letter carved into them, to solve a puzzle ‘word’ related to Halloween.
All completed activity sheets were handed in at the Castle Kiosk and a winner was chosen at random.
The prize, a stunt scooter, was delivered, socially distanced to the winner, Mollie Burton, this week.
Cllr John Chesworth, Cabinet member for Environment and Culture, said: “Thank you and well done to the many families that took part in the Pumpkin Trail during half-term week.
“We knew Halloween and the half term holiday wasn’t going to be the same this year, with many of the usual events unable to take place; so we were delighted to arrange the Pumpkin Trail as a fun and Covid-19 safe activity, giving children something to do, while exploring Tamworth town centre.
“Well done to Mollie and we hope you enjoy using your new scooter!”
