Staff at a Shell petrol station were threatened by a thug who demanded they handed over cash.
The terrifying incident took place at the Shell garage on the A38 Southbound at Fradley, at around 4.40pm on Sunday, January 17.
The offender, who it is believed fled on foot towards Fradley, is described as white, skinny, about 5’6” – 5’7” tall, wearing a green parker-style coat and a black scarf or mask covering the lower part of his face.
A man matching the description of the suspect was spotted on Fradley Lane, in the area close to the bridge over the A38, shortly before the incident occurred, police have said.
Thankfully, no staff were harmed. Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
